I have not slept in for 5 consecutive days, and will not get to sleep in for 4 more days. That is too much for me. Right now I am very tired because I have been going nonstop for 5 days. So here's a brief synopsis:
Thursday:
Wake up at 5am.
Dad gives me a cell phone!
Leave for airport. Get on plane.
Land in Minneapolis.
Get on bus to LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
Walk around. Explore.
Gasp at how disgusting the dorms are.
Go to the memento exchange. Get lots of cool stuff from all around the world.
Go to dinner.
Sleep.
Friday:
Wake up at 5am.
Eat breakfast.
Do the FPS booklet competition.
Cell phone breaks. I literally only had a cell phone for 30 hours.
Work on presentation of action plan in disgusting dorms.
Present action plan before judges. We don't make final round.
Attempt CPR on cell phone.
Go to Community Problem Solving fair. Get Australian sunscreen.
Get a pen pal from New Zealand and Singapore.
Sleep.
Saturday:
Wake up at 8:30.
Watch final round presentations of action plans.
Wander around aimlessly.
Go on downtown LaCrosse, Wisconsin scavenger hunt. End up walking at least 5 miles.
Collapse on pitiful bed in dorm room. Massage feet.
Get ready for dance.
Go to talent show.
Go to dance.
Sleep.
Sunday:
Wake up at 7:30.
Whole body is sore.
Pack.
Go to awards ceremony.
Sit bored for 2 hours.
We didn't win anything.
Get suitcases.
Board bus.
Play card game of War that lasts for 1 and a half hours.
Play another card game while waiting for delayed flight.
Board plane.
Land in Atlanta.
Drive home.
Monday:
Wake up at 7 am.
Drive to church where cub scout day camp is being held.
Get leadership hours for Girl Scouts.
Work with 6 groups of 12-18 boys.
Attempt to teach them kickball. Outdoors. In 95 degrees.
Get home.
Take shower.
Tired.
