LTCs

In August, I posted about making all my Letterbox Trading Cards for a swap I was doing. I was very excited about it, as it was my first ever LTC Swap, and my first time actually carving my own stamp. I proudly shipped off my cards to some lady in Michigan, who would be recieving cards from 15 other people, and then redistributing them. About a week ago, I got the LTCs from other people in the mail. Wow. They put mine to shame.

Here is my Goblet of Fire. Pitiful.

And here is The Triwizard Cup...way cooler than mine.

This one is really cool: The Monster Book of Monsters.

The Sorting Hat and All Things Harry

The Golden Snitch and Fawkes

This one is called Tom Riddle's Diary. It was made on very old crinkled looking paper. Very authentic.

This one is called The Burrow (Weasley's home). It looks kinda like scrapbooking, the way there's a torn piece of paper in back.

Snape and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named

Thestral and Gryffindor's Sword. The detail in these is amazing. It looks like whoever made them used embossing like I did.

Snape at Hogwarts and Young Harry. Again, really amazing detail.

This one is called Hogwarts Express, and it looks like it was completely hand drawn with chalk pencils or something, which gives it a cool appearance.

These two are Expecto Patronum: Harry and Hermione. In the movie, Harry's patronis is a stag and Hermione's is an otter. It looks like the person that made this printed out faint pictures of the two characters and then used her stamp to add the patronis.

And finally, here is Hedwig. Wow. And I thought mine were detailed.

  1. Just look at it this way...those people have WAY too much time on their hands!! I mean, that last one (the owl) must have taken at least an hour for each one! Plus, the people you traded with were probably all adults. :)

P.S. I posted on my blog today! I'm gonna post some more tonight too. :)

  2. Out of all of them, I like yours and The Burrow, but I know nothing about Harry Potter. Hope the rains and the flooding have subsided. marge
