Yes! School is finally out for Thanksgiving week! The whole week dragged on painfully slowly.
Today was the annual Turkey Trot, a one mile race at our school. I came around 20th out of about 150 girls. If I had made the top 15, I would have gotten a t-shirt. So close.
Falling behind on Nanowrimo. I've got 6,143 words so far, and my goal is 15,000. Seeing as it's more than halfway through the month, that's not so great. But there is still hope, for there is NO SCHOOL next week. That'll give me some nice writing time.
Because Nanowrimo has made me obsessed with numbers and word counts, I'll give you some more numbers about my novel as a whole.
18,598 words.
40 computer pages = about 80 book pages.
11 chapters.
