Last night, as an early Christmas present, Dad and I went to a Carrie Underwood concert. It was a lot of fun, especially since this was my first concert and Hunter Hayes opened for her.
Considering that we didn't buy our tickets until two hours before the show, it was amazing we got the seats that we did---floor seats right in the center, with a great view of the stage and not too far away.
Here's Hunter Hayes singing before the concert. (Well, before Carrie's concert, at least.) He's a newer country singer. The radio host of the country station calls him the Justin Bieber of country.
The stage was cool. It consisted of four background panels that shifted around throughout the show to suit whatever image was being projected onto them.
Around the middle of the concert, Carrie actually got into this pen of sorts which rose above the crowd and then "flew" out into the audience. Dad liked this part best.
Our seats were perfect for this, too, for she flew directly over us, offering some nice opportunities for up-close photos.
Overall, an awesome time!
how fun! nice post - loved the snowflake effect - subtle, but cool.
