My novel is now 40,000 words long!!!!! And I'm not finished with it, although I'm pretty darn close.
Anyways, 40,000!!! It seems like such a milestone, such an achievement, even though most books are a lot longer than 40k. It's the longest story I've ever written, though. And that's cause for celebration.
Dad's on the phone right now with Grandaddy talking about the snow. I heard him say things like, "You know Liz is writing a story, right? Well, that's what she's been doing pretty much every day. She went out to play, but right now she's writing."
Yep. That's me.
